mnm99, is that homemade or off the shelf? If off the shelf have an item number? Looks much nicer than my old beach towels.

It was custom. Had my guy come to my boat and measure. This is what I got back.

Looks great. When I had one made for my 340da I had them put flaps in to access the radio and dash buttons when it was on.

Jeremy, the addition of those flaps is a great idea.

mnm, I like the looks of your new cover. Nicely done and a nice addition to the boat.

Your goy did a nice job. Who did you use?

Local guy in Port Jefferson. He does it from his basement. Does great work..Does custom full canvas. Great prices. All my buddies use him.

I love that it has no snaps. I wanted one forever but hated the idea of installing snaps in dash. What is that material? Sunbrella?
It has 3 snaps. There is 1 way up past the compass, One all the way to the bottom left and bottom right. They match the canvas and the screw in part is kinda out of site.

Yes Sunbrella. It's a new pattern. Matches the helm perfect. If I can get a good price to have a few made up, would you guys want one? Edit..I just heard back from him. He can come and do my templete again if I want more. The price would be $225 with snaps( or you don't need to use them) if I could get 2 or more. I paid $250 so I guess that's a little better. I could ship it to you if you want, you pay shipping. I'm sure you can pick a sunbrella cover color also. I would just have to ask what he carries. Sunbrella has a lot. https://www.sunbrella.com/sunbrella-shade-silica-dune-4859-0000

In my experience the snaps are a must have. Even with heavier sunbrella fabric the wind tends to move the helm cover around quite a lot. Especially if you regularly open your window vent (which I do).

I used "SNADS" for one or two of my helm cover snaps. No drilling...just 3M tape. So far so good...

On pricing - after DIY'ing my helm cover, $250 is money well spent. Buy it!
