Hi I'm new here and need some help. I wanted to know if I can use a Sea Ray Sport 185 in both salt and fresh water? If I buy this boat I want something I can use for both. I will not be leaving in the water and when I finish fishing I would take the boat out and wash it. Please Help.

Sure you can, of course you would have to be aware of the conditions as this size boat won't be fun in large waves. If you wanted to be real nice to the boat rinse out the eng. using ear muffs with fresh water after using in salt water.

Yes I Intend on keeping it cleaned and cleaning the motor and washing the boat after using in salt water. Thanks so much.

+1, I agree with Katricol completely and welcome aboard!

MP, I can understand you disagreeing with the guy, but I thought he had some good points. I especially enjoyed the analogy to cleavage and fresh water/salt water operation in a 185. Before you arbitrarily throw somebody off the board, you ought to read what they have to say.

My apologies MP. I was being a smart***. I can't read Chinese and had absolutely no idea what it said. I should have added a smiley emoticon of some type. My bad!
