I am a 1984 270DA twin Merc Searay owner. I own lots of other boats because I slavage them but , I love my vintage Searay. It's my keeper. My Silverton will probably sit unfinished this year.
I hooked up with an A1 marine mechanic with a great shop here on Long Island and now bring him so many parts boats he gets overwhelmed. He loves me and my constant stream of boats I bring.
I actually had to rent another yard just to stage the boats prior to parting them out.
My daughters are now making me a new website which is almost done. I try to rush them but , hey , they're daughters. I can't be their boss and dad so I opt for dad first.
Thanks to Spookeay for helping me find this site. We have the same taste in boats it seems , and I found this site googling 270DA restore and ended up on her thread. You go girl
