Hello from the UK !

After a couple of years of viewing boats I took delivery of my first boat last week.

She is a Sea Ray 220 Sunsport Europe and is birthed in Brighton Marina. This particular model is made in Poland for the European market. She is very similar to the 220 Select but has a nice little cuddy, which should prove useful, given the state of the weather here.

I’ve been lurking around this forum for a few months now. There is an absolute wealth of information and advice for Sea Ray owners and prospective owners. Thank you all for your contributions and providing an informative and entertaining read.

Welcome aboard. The Sun Sports are a great looking boat. I wish Sea Ray still had them in the US. The smallest you can get in the US is the 290 Sun Sport.

Gary, The boat is 2 years old and was supplied by a Sea Ray dealer. There is no tax on used boats in the UK, although new boats are subject to 17.5% VAT ( Value Added Tax ).
