My wife and I had been searching for a 'perfect' boat for what we wanted. It had been a couple years of us searching and we finally came across our 1996 240 Sundeck. For our needs, this is a great fit. It has a porta pottie (wife's requirement) and plenty of room for the kids and to entertain on our local rivers and just out into the coast.
We have had the boat about a month, and my guess is that we have used it more than the previous owner did in the past two years.
This board is great, as I have received help on our fresh water system - boy was that really gunked up and most recently what I thought was a starter issue. Unfortunately, it is waiting to have the coupling on the flywheel replaced, and will have the shop do some preventative maintenance while the engine is out. Outside of this slight mishap, we are very pleased and look forward to years of fun (until we get the itch for a bigger boat).
