Hello Everyone!

I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and say hello. My wife and I purchased a 1989 340 Sundancer last May and really enjoyed our first Summer cruising the upper Chesapeake. We spent the previous 17 seasons on our Cruiser's Inc Holiday 25, but we had just out grown it. When my wife suggested we purchase a bigger boat, who am I to deny her of that wish!! We have a few updates planned this year before Spring launch, so I'm sure I'll be posting a few messages on some things I'm looking for. I am a really good mechanic and have machinist experience as well. Don't hesitate to contact me if I can help. Thanks and I'm looking forward to contributing to this forum! BTW, The Cruiser's is for sale if anyone is interested!

Welcome aboard CSR and to owning the best made boat on the water! There is lots of great advice here.

Make sure you check out the Classics thread for 340s.

Welcome and congratulations on your new to you boat. Looking forward to hearing about your boating experiences.

Welcome! I'm upper Chesapeake as well - Rock Hall - so maybe we'll run into each other (but not literally, I hope).

It's always great to know a great mechanic especially if you're a terrible mechanic like I am!

Hi, and welcome to Club Sea Ray! I also boat on the chesapeake bay, we trailer our 270 and put in at Sandy Point State Park, so we go both North and South. Very nice place to start from because of the central location. Whats the name of your 340, we'll keep an eye out for you. Again welcome and good boating.

Hello, We named the boat Almost There! I agree with you that you are in a great location to go north or south. We considered slipping the boat at Mears Marina at Kent Narrows just for that purpose, but due to my work schedule it would be hard to get to the boat during he week. We get down your way a couple times a season, I'll be looking out for you. Thanks!

Welcome to CSR, my goal is to take a couple of weeks off and boat my way up to Lewis. Enjoy the 34' they are very nice boats

Welcome to CSR from a fellow Newarker. Congratulations and best of luck with your new to you boat!
