Just dropping a note to say thanks to the site organizers and all the members (new and not so new). I've found the information here useful recently and finally decided I ought to sign up and introduce myself.
I've been boating my whole life, as a youngster on Cape Cod and over the years wherever I could. Sail and power, but power cruising is my passion. In April 2007 I bought new a 2006 Sundancer with a 496 MAG. I opted for the 260 as it was the largest Sundancer I could get and put on a trailer that was legal (without permits) across the US. So I bought the boat, trailer and tow vehicle all at once.
I'm now about to embark on season 3 and we already have put over 280 hours on this puppy in just 2 seasons. We are fortunate to have a small place in southwest FL as well. So we keep it here in MA for summers and in FL for the winter. Yes, I haul it back and forth, usually two or three times a year.
Loving every moment aboard and looking forward to sharing experiences and lessons with others.
Thanks,
Wes
