Greetings all. I'm from Knoxville Tennessee and am the proud new owner of a 1986 17' Seville C/B. I've never owned a boat in my life but i think this is a good boat to start out in since it is not that big. Its all original with only around 50 hrs on it, but you can sure tell it is a 23 yr old boat. No rot in the floor and runs as smooth as butter. With a little elbow grease i think i can get her looking pretty good. Anyone out there familiar with this boat? If so i could use all the pointers you could throw at me. I'll post some pics on here as soon as she's presentable. Thanks!

welcome.
like all new members you must go to control panel and edit your signature with your boat details.
sounds like a fun boat!

Thanks, went and did just that a few mins ago

sure am. I'll be putting in on the other side of concord marina.

Years ago when I had my fish & ski we would launch at Carl Cowan & fish down to the dam. We trailer to Norris now...much nicer lake imo.

Thanks for the welcoming. I think if its not raining tomorrow, I think ill take maiden voyage! I'll probably launch from the ramp across from the entrance to concord park, or down northshore by the cove. I REALLY hopee it isnt raining tomorrow!

just wanted to say i finally have a couple pics!

Finally got the boat on the water today! Had a blast! But i am curious about the bilge. When i was on the water today i lifted the engine cover and heard water coming in the bilge like a faucet slightly open. enough so that i made it a point to hit the bilge pump switch every 10 mins or so and let it pump it out.
im guessing this should not be happening? Thanks all,

Matt
