5.0
Just bought my first Sea Ray. It's a 1999 210 Sundeck with the 5.0 motor. I only got to take it out once since I got it home but so far I like it allot. It only has 147 hours on it so it's still in real good shape. Just installed a new stainless prop and it appears the top speed is around 45 mph. I was hoping for more but I think the carbeurated motor is only 220 hp so I guess thats pretty good. Anyway, cant wait until spring. Boating season is over for us here in Kansas.

Welcome aboard! Maybe you can put off winterizing a bit and hope for a nice, sunny autumn day? Cruising around... a nice warm sweater... looking at the changing scenery... hot chocolate.

Put your bow cover on and it'll help to keep the chill away.

Welcome aboard Roman150. Where do you boat at? I'm from the KC area also. We boat on Truman Lake. We're here right now, pulling the boat out to bring it home for the winter. Good luck with your new boat.

We boat mostly at the Lake of the Ozarks but I'm very familiar with Truman Lake from by Tournament Bass fishing days. My sister in law has a cabin at the Ozarks at about the 60 mile marker. We also go to Pomona Lake and rarely Hillsdale lake.

Table Rock is a beautiful lake. We hope to boat down there this next year. Hard to pass up the free cabin at the Ozarks though. Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Cant beat free lodging. Hopefully we will have a short winter.

Well it definitely appears that winter is starting early. Seems like we went right into winter from summer. This has really been a strange summer here in the mid west. Never really got hot except for a few days. I think I only got in the water a couple of times this year and it was cool then. I look forward to a long season of boating next year. Definitely want to hit Truman Lake and Tablerock. I also made one trip last year to Stockton Lake, it was very nice. They have a big rock quarry there that is part of the lake. Kinda like a laid back party cove. I ride motorcycles too so it's tough to juggle both hobbies but I try my best. Hope to see some of you on the water next year. Thanks again for the welcome.
