I kept my first boat in Huntington Harbor for a short period of time. You are close to a lot of good places. Short trip down to Newport Harbor and over to Catalina. San Diego is a good run as well.

Hey Boater- we are just across the way from you- our SunDancer 280 is on a trailer in the storage area at sunset aquatic park right next to the launch ramp. Not as convenient as a slip- but great for the budget! Just a 10 minute project to drop her in or out. Maybe our paths will cross sometime. Welcome to the forums.

Well hello and welcome!!!! Our boat is also located in Huntington Harbour. What marina are you moored at?? We are in Huntington Harbor Marina at the very end of the harbor off of Warner.

Welcome!!!

Man do I miss So CA....

Came back home to TX after 8 yrs there to hang with the parents and in-laws while still able to. Not a bad decision from their viewpoint, but i MISS the Pacific. Fished every weekend, Catalina on a monthly basis....

Want to have some fun, hook up with the outrigger canoe clubs in the area. They're always looking for support boats/captains. Running chase for their paddler changes is a lot of fun. They pay enough to cover your costs, feed you lunch, and you get to hang out on the water and meet some really neat folks. If you're interested, send me an email to carl.bailey09@gmail,com and I can get you in touch. They basically take over Avalon one weekend every September.... The admiral and I always had a blast...

Enjoy the best place in the US as far as I'm concerned for weather and boating.

Tex
