Hello from Cape Cod.

New owner of a '89 Laguna 23 walk around. Originally, I was looking for a Mako center console, as I love the mako ride in the 23 foot range..

I wound up buying the 23 walk around that was for sale with a blown engine, as Sea Ray has a solid hull and ride as well, the price was right and plan on more family activity than fishing. The wife and daughter will appreciate the cabin, we figured... :grin:

Look forward to coming to this site more often now!

Wow, thanks for the quick hello and replies! I am from Mashpee, MA. I used to work for Sea Ray dealer in the early 90's, so been able to go on many Sea Ray's and know the ride quality of the hulls..

Just picked her up this past weekend, and working on cleaning up the hull, and will get some pic's after that hopefully...

I have some maintenance work cut out for me, but the overall hull is in great shape..

Welcome, I am in Falmouth. Get that thing fixed up and ready for next year!! I think we should try to put a gathering together next year for local Sea Ray owners. So many great places to meet that I think it would be a great time. Hope to see you out there.

Hey, now that sounds like fun, some friends of mine on Cape have a 30' Sea Ray too, that I know could probably get to go too.

They are out all the time on it, and love to get together with people on the boat..

My boating season is going to be shorter than normal so the next few weekends (and days if i can skip out of work) will be on the water. We are getting married in St. Thomas so that eats up 3 weeks in Oct. so looks like the end of sept. is all she wrote! I've put on 59 hours in 3.5 weeks since getting the boat so we've gotten our fair share of boat time!

We are always up for meeting new folks so maybe we can pull together a trip!
