Welcome to the board! Great bunch of folks here, I'm sure you'll enjoy it around here.

Welcome. Nice to have someone from "down under". Gives an interesting breadth to the forum: you're heading into winter, we're in spring.

Welcome Aboard  . Post some pics of your boat in the virtual marina :smt024 .

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

We purchased an 89 256 Searay in January this year, this is the first larger boat I have owned as the past boats have all been ski boats 15'-18' variations.

One of the reasons (not the only one)I joined this forum was to try and gather information regarding the history of this fine vesel. The name of the boat is Fishermans Friend (as is the cough lozengers) :smt009
The Logo is exactly the same so it led me to think that it may have been a promoional or give away prize in a past life.

Could anyone on the forum shed some light on this for me or point me in the correct direction to find information?

We intend to restore the mighty cough cough boat back to its former glory as the years have taken some toll.

I will post Pictures when I have some decent ones and will keep the forum abreast of the renovations as they take place.

Agaian Thank you for the warm welcome.

Brett
