Happy Spring.... Need some help. 1987 Sundancer 250, I'm trying to remount an antenna rachet on the starboard side which the original owner did so using screws only. To mount it correctly (with backplate and bolts) I need to remove the 3 sided angled upholstered box which is mounted just under the throttle handle. I have opened the glove box and removed the 3 visible screws holding it to the teak but there apears to be something holding it fast on the starboard side of the box which I can't get to or even see? Would appreciate any help on this as I've been scratching my head for an hour trying to figure this one out. Thanks in advance.

Can you reach it from the compartment in the head? From there you can reach WAY back down the side of the boat. From there you have access to the underside of the dash and the side of the boat is fairly easy to get too. I don't know how far back the antenna is mounted, but you might be able to get to it.

Thanks for the reply....
I've tried access from the head but seems there are bulkheads which block the way but I'll take another look today. Not sure if it's a screw holding the box or a clip which I just have to muscle a little....
