Just finished week one of my two week stay. The weather here has been in the 20F this week with overcast every day. Cold, blustery, and gloomy. It's so much different the last summer when I was here.

Bill, Are you passing through Rome on your way back home?

No Pietro but I wish I were. One of my colleagues I was with this week is from Rome and we were looking at your boat during a break. One day my travels will take me there and I will let you know. It would be awesome to meet up with you.
Until then keep MoonChild afloat and ready to go.

It would be great for sure!!! Moonchild should be floating by mid april

Cool is the word Jason. I havent gotten warm since we landed here. I changed rooms twice because the heaters would not warm the room enough for my southern thin skin self.

We just don't know how good we have it do we?

But Scott, Change is what we got.

Atleast that's all I have left in my pockets?

I hear there is a particularly viscious strain of this disease working it's way through the upper Northwest states, as well as California.

Mostly Southern Calfornia! Don't lump us all together. I am not liberal, gay, blonde, vegan, a hippie or any of the other California stereotypes. My roots are from Georgia and Alabama (my parents escaped) so we were raised on good old fashion values such as getting a good whooping for punishment.

Speaking of change, everyone over here is looking at southern Europe and the domino affect it is going to cause. They think the states are in good shape compared to this mess. Sweden should fair pretty well but others not so much.
My company is well leveraged but nothing is a sure thing anymore. We are going through a realignment project again and eliminating over lapping where possible. We walk the fine line of cutting too much and not meeting market demand or too much overhead and no sales volumes. The “fudge” factor is tighter than ever. No room for error or someone eats your lunch.
BTW I have report that STD to many of my colleagues who have now been vaccinated with a shot of rugged individualism and a kicker of Votemout.

More pictures to come, stay tuned.

A balmy 20F day with 15MPH winds and 80% humidity. (It's a sticky kind of cold.)
The ice is too thick to boat on and too thin to fish.
