Heismann

I don't think Texas and McCoy have much of a chance agaisnt Bama.

Hope you're right. TN Vol here but have to root for the SEC. Could have been worse though.....would have killed me to root for Forida

Obama is a shoe in to win it this year. It will look good on his mantel next to the Nobel Peace Prize that he didn't earn.

Go Bama, does not sound right from a UGA fan, what can I say my daughter and money goes to UGA.:grin:

Naaa... Its an award normally given to the most outstanding college football player every year. Very prestigeous.

John Heisman is buried in our town in N.WI. The cemetery sexton claims that his ghost was active this fall. You don't suppose........na, couldn't be.:wow:

Cincinnati, TCU, Boise State...... :huh:Maybe one of these teams has a Heismann Winner???? If not, I'd vote for Ingram of Alabama. He destroyed a very good Florida defense....

Don't think we need to worry if Bama plays the way they did agaist the Gators. They have to uphold the SEC BCS title game perfection, the SEC has never lost a title game, 7~8 and 0. Think it's Gators-3, Ga-1, Tn-1, LSU-1, Auburn-1 and maybe Ak-1. Actually just heard on TV that the SEC is 5-0.....my error, sorry. The Gators have 3, 1996, 2006 and 2008, LSU won 2007 anyone know the others?

Congratulations to him, but statistically his yards per carry numbers didn't seem a whole lot different from the other two rotational backs in the Alabama backfield...I wonder how some of the other backs in the country would have performed behind that offensive line.

No, it's the "Independence Bowl" in Shreveport LA, at 5:00 pm on Monday afternoon 12/28/09. ESPN Sucks for setting up such a dumb time to play a bowl game! :smt021

ESPN SUCKS! ESPN SUCKS! ESPN SUCKS! ESPN SUCKS! ESPN SUCKS! ESPN SUCKS! ESPN SUCKS!. :smt021 Phew, that wore me out! :smt043

I think the big number to look at is the Total Net Yards Gained= 1447....and the Net Yards per Game=119.1...very impressive.

One thing that impresses me also is that 65% of his yardage is "after contact" He is forcing missed tackles and gaining extra yardage based on his talent and second effort.

Hey Richard tell us how you really feel.
:lol::smt043:lol:

I do have to agree with you. What a time to start a game.

A buddy of mine is producing the Georgia game for ESPN. I understand they expect a good game and are happy to have it. Agree with the time though...yuk.

You can type it a couple of times, then copy and then paste a couple of times, then repeat that until you get a whole bunch of them with less effort:

Personally, I like ESPN.

Well as an die hard Aggie Fan I am really excited about playing Georgia. We have been living in despair in College Station since they gave RC the boot a year after winning the Big 12 Championship. Thanks Coach FRAN!!!!

It Looks like Mike Sherman has the Ags moving in the right direction. I don't know if we can beat Georgia, but at least we are playing in a bowl game again!

I knew it John, you are certainly bucking for those 3rd class trainee stripes.

Temp - You got a good a shot as any high school team at beating Georgia right now. They will more than likely hand you the game ball the way they have played all year. :smt009 No one has really beat them, they gave the games away in penalties and bad judgment. :smt013 How they managed to beat Georgia Tech floored me after they gave the game away to a 3rd rate teams like Kentucky, Tennessee. Heck, Georgia tried its best to give the game away to Auburn and they sure don't have a team this year. It sure has been a roller coaster ride with them this year. :smt089

Jed - send your buddy a link to our thread...maybe he will pass it along to ESPN and let someone really know what we think. (Not that they really would give a rat's back side).

Well, I hope for a good game. the last SEC team we played was Arkansas in dallas and that did not go well for us. I can't remember the SEC team that the Ags beat. we have a VERY young team so if the Buldogs come out swinging it may be lights out and another lossing campain for the Ags.
