Health Question

Funny thing...I just got done hearing those same words from two very smart and important people... No drinking...no working.

I have a Tens 7000 two of them as a matter of fact one here and one in Florida. I use it for my lower back cronic back pain. I found a file on line a few years ago on where to put the pads and what a difference that made in pain relief. The file also tells you the settings for a tens 7000.

I dont agree with the 'no drinking' one, faced between Panadiene Forte or a glass or two of Red Wine, i believe the Red Wine does less internal damage than the pain killers!

Ian, it's the pain meds and wine that would cause problems. Plus I promised. No bourbon, wine, or caffeine till the BP comes down and off the anti inflammatory meds. I'm even off Neioproxin till the BP is much lower. It is down some today but still very high 160/110. I'm not even allow to say the word "stressed"

Ok, the BP, one I understand.

My GP. Is my fishing partners wife.

Late last year I went to give blood. The young girl said "are you feeling ok?" "Yes, recovering from a bit of a cold, but I think I'm good why?" "Your BP IS 180/137, your not going to be real good if we take blood!

It was the same when I went to my GP a week later, so now on BP meds and banned from anti inflammatories (Mobic) and cold pills !

So my apologies forgot about the BP, but when you get it down again.....

No worries there...plenty of Buffalo Trace and Blantons on the boat for the summer season. (bourbons)

For what?

Took the boat out with all hands, the Captain didn't want to go out in fear it would bother my injury but being hardheaded we went for a very short run. It felt good to get out for just those few miles. Tieing up tho wasn't so much fun, guess I'm going to be a slip queen for a bit

I think just being on the boat helped me last year when my injury was most acute. I'd make my way up to the fly bridge and balancing myself with the gently rocking boat was very similar to the core strengthing exercises I would later do in therapy.

I posted mixing up the threads, when I went to edit, I couldn't delete the post.....probably should have written Deleted

Ok last update till the first of June. After the anti inflammatory drugs things are improving. No real pain to speak of anymore and the B/P has started to slowly drop. Only one real problem still bothers me. My arm from my ear to my thumb will fall asleep at the drop of a hat. It's got to be the strangest feeling. I am working again on a limited level, no lifts and no windows over 30'. Sanding kinda hurts but just due to the vibrations the sander sends up my arm. I wanted to thank everyone here. Your help and words kinda took the stress of this mess away. Without your words I think the BP would have been much higher...anyway Thank You
