Heading South for a couple of weeks, What to do and see in the VA/MD area.

Had a very nice dinner with Tom at the Baltimore Yacht Club. Thank you for a great stay. We are now in Baltimore's inner harbor. Easy ride.

Just wanted to thank everyone that contributed to this thread. We made it safely back to Connecticut after a great trip and after going up thru NYC and stopping in Port Jeff LI for a couple of days.. Thanks again Guys.. Let me know if you venture this way and i'll be sure to make suggestions..
 
Have to say this thread has me thinking we need to do this trip next summer!

We lived outside DC while my wife was in grad school, I always dreamed of coming back to the Chesapeake by boat.
 
Glad to hear you made it back safe and sound! We just came back from our weeks cruise last night.

Great weather and two great ports of call. We spent two nights in St Michaels and three in Cambridge at the River Marsh Marina at the Hyatt.

It was a wonderful cruise and the crew enjoyed St Michaels the most. Ava's, Limoncello, Justin's and an outstanding breakfast at Carpenter's. I cannot believe the number of L series Flys I saw while on the trip. 3 two 650s and one 590. Amazing!

It was a little windy heading down Saturday but coming back Thursday was a picture perfect day on the Chesapeake, 5 knot winds and calm from Knapps Narrow all the way up the Bay.

Very nice pictures.... We may take the trip again next year. Knowing we can make Annapolis in 2 days is always good to know. Might decide to run the outside rather than run up the Delaware river.. We'll have to wait and see..
