Hello All,

Just got a 1998 330 Sundancer. Wondering if the water used when flushing the vacuflush comes from the fresh water holding tank or does it come directly from the lake? Your input is appreciated.

My '98 DA pulls from the freshwater tank... Turn your freshwater system off and see if it will add water to your toilet.

Yup, its from the 40 gallon fresh water tank. I have had my 97 330 for 12 years now so if you have any questions about yours, let me know. There is a dedicated “official 330DA” thread on here that is a huge vault of information. It helped me when I bought mine and since then. I am also on Georgian bay, out of Hindson in Penetanguishene. I also have electronic copies of the manuals, parts list etc. So if you want them, send me a personal message and I can email them to you.

Hey Creekwood,
I've had my '97 330 for 12 years as well! Bought it in February of '09. Thought I'd be stepping up a few years after that but never did!

I just got the boat and water was clean. Someone went to the washroom and noticed. I went in and saw a brown tinge as well as "looked like algae globules", I flushed a couple of times after that and it was clear. Thats why I thought the water came from the lake. I haven't been on since then. I will take a look today again. Might have just been a bad BM.

Was that the first time using the head? Water sitting in lines for a long time can sometimes smell and/or get discolored from algae.

You can so a bleach treatment to the tank and lines to clean it up. I can't recall the ratio of bleach to water, but this has been discussed many times on here.
