The door lamination opened up a bit at the hinges so the screws wouldn't bite any more.

The door is still in excellent shape otherwise, so replacement is not an option. :)

Anyone has any other solution please?

I was thinking longer screws for this weekend trip. But that should only be a temporary solution.

Thank you.

hmmm, that's a great advice actually. Let me see what they have.

Thanks Tim.

Might even be a good idea to drill out the existing holes way oversize, and then fill it with epoxy. Then re-drill for small pilot holes. And then use longer screws too!

 Will do!

Thanks everyone. Too exciting about the trip, can't get any work done. Haha.
