in the UK "feral" young men are referred to as "yobs". in the neighbourhood shown in the following video clip the local "hard" man lines his friends up outside a house with their mobile phones ready to record him intimidating a neighbour (something he has done to others before).

but, THANK YOU GOD, he has chosen a biker who knows how to look after himself - watch how he crawls out of the gate to the property.

since one of the gang posted this on UTube, the perpetrator has apparently threatened to sue this newspaper for his "humiliation" - poor baby.

enjoy...

This is great to see. I'm not 100% sure of what this guy(the one knocked down) was doing at the other guy's(in interview) door. It looks like he was protecting his house (or a friend's?).

Unfortunately(and I'm a Tae Kwon Do Blackbelt so I'm aware of what you can do with martial arts), I'd be worried about the knocked down guy coming back with something faster than a fist, especially now that he's been embarrassed all over the net. I'm surprised the local police haven't done anything (or have they?).

Amen to that. Here we can give him lead poisoning and are protected by the "He needed killin'" clause in the State Constitution.

What I find amazing is that this type of behavior is apparently wide spread and accepted in some social settings. All I can say is "wow"...

that would be "acute" lead poisoning. Happens a lot here in the inner city!

Kevin,
Didn’t you say the Sun was owned by Rupert Murdoch of Fox News? Good to see they aren't worried about a lawsuit when it comes to humiliating a hooligan!

I think the guy was lucky to crawl out the gate.

Even in New Zealand you could probably have capped the guy with little consequence.

This guy http://http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/2985153/Anger-after-dinner-party-murder-trial-verdict popped is best friend for getting agro with his GF after a dinner party.

The lesson....threaten me or my family on my property at your own peril!

And NZ has a very regulated gun environment…not even LEOs freely carry guns.

Off topic....I am suprised at the tame response of you Americans after the handgun thread.

What I cannot fathom is this - last week I was at a mall in VA and saw a guy with a handgun on his hip...no problem I guess, yet I could have been arrested for drinking a beer in the same spot. It’s a constitutional freedom to carry a gun, but not to drink a beer. Apparently other freedoms not available in VA, at least, are being able to have a beer in a bar that doesn’t need to have X amount of sales in food, being able to see a girl get ALL her kit off in a nightclub and using a radar detector when you are running late on the drive to the airport. And there are many more such non-freedoms in the US. The US is a very regulated environment....

Don’t get me wrong, I love the US. I have a green card, two brothers who are US citizens (born in the US) and think the place is a man’s paradise…especially if one loves boating…but I think that if Americans spent any amount of time in other countries they would realize that they are not as “free” as they think they are!

Again, sorry for getting off topic. Just spent two weeks appreciating the subtle difference between the US and other Western countries.

I would agree in part with your comments ref. regulation. We have had a slow drift toward centeralised gov. control in this country for a long time. However, there are 50 states which pass different laws covering much of what you are talking about. In this country you can find states which have legalized prostitution, gambling , same sex marriage, striptease clubs, one used to not even have a speed limit. I think that has changed now. Point is many laws are just the opposite in different states. If you don't like laws were you are,you move or back a politician who will change things.

007... That is the result of what happens when liberals get bored. I think the current batch of libs running everything now will put a stop to them ever getting power again. We'll be able to undo a lot of this stuff in upcoming years...

We didn't have so many restrictions on our freedoms just 20 years ago.

The response is "tame" because, well let's face it. The guy punched another guy in the mouth. It was deserved, and he had every right to do so. The attacker was just lucky that it stopped there before he got the whole can of whoopass.

I could have swore when I was poking around here last week someone said he wasn't going to do "non-boating threads" or something.... must have been drinking.

Sounds familiar.:smt021

you don´t know when to give up do you?

and you cant follow a thread. look, let me help you. you start at the first post and then you read them sequentially. as you read them you make an attempt to understand them. like, what do the words mean? when was each post posted? etc. (are you with me so far?) having understood whats going on and if you have something worthwhile to add then you can post to that thread.

it makes it so much more enjoyable for the reader.

and there is the added benefit that you wont look like a schmuck.

Kevin,

Haven't you heard? Threads are a "living document". The words in them really don't mean today what they meant yesterday when they were posted. Its all a byproduct of the environment that we were forced to live in. We're poor, unfortunate, downtrodden folks who need to be "lifted" by the more compassionate in our society. It really isn't our fault. We'll just take all of Kaykook's posts away, and give them to you... He has over 600, you only have 200. Then, you can argue with youself. hehe...
