He hit my boat twice !!

OK, Friday night I was at my dock at 9:30pm. I was down in the cabin making some phone call.
I felt my boat move and this awful noise of plastic breaking ???
I came out of the cabin and my dock neighbor ran into my boat breaking BOTH port side vents . :smt013 . :smt013
And then last night he hit my swim platform . :smt021
THIS WAS DONE IN DEAD CALM WATERS WITH ZERO WINDS !!!!. :wow:

I'm just so pi$$ed off over this !!, I thinking about asking for another slip OR have him moved to another one . :smt038

definately suggest a move.....ask him how he would like to take care of the damage...either pay you outright....or pay your insurance company..

Was this incident the first time you actually met the guy? Seems to me like it would make it tough to be dock neighbors with him from here on out. I guess we'll have to see how things finish out once the repairs are made and his speedy response to pay the bill.
 
I met him 3 times before, I called the marina owner and he's looking into it. :smt038
This guy is wrecking my boat more than me when I'm DRUNK !!. :grin:

Theres a member on here that quoted me $289 per vent.

I would get him to pay for repairs, then request that HE be moved to a different slip. Preferrably a hundred miles away. Why should you have to move to a new slip, unless there's a benefit to moving, like being closer to shore, etc.
 
Maybe wrap your entire boat in heavy bubble wrap until someone is moved! What a pain in the a$$, how can someone be that retarded?....sorry, I meant mentally challenged.

Wayne, That's the big question. I wonder what goes on when I'm not around too. What's the chance that he'd fess up to the damage if you weren't there?

Wayne once he pays for the repairs tell him he needs spider bomb his boat.:smt043If he can't drive and has never read your posts on what happened to you, you might get his boat cheap from the widow. :wow:

I think you need to have Ron move him to an other slip.
