My 2009 310DA has a Trapezoid forward deck hatch. Tried to open it last season and found the lifts all messed up. got it closed and secured. Another PO issue. I tried looking up the Part# listed in the Sea Ray parts manual to no avail. Can someone get me in the right direction as I would like to change both lift units out.

I did some research on this last year along with @brewster16 and we both called Taylor Made. I was told this was the Ultra III arms. I was also told the part number for a Ultra III Arm for a 20x20 Trap Hatch was 40400535. I never did wind up ordering one as much more was pressing on my to-do.

@brewster16, can you confirm that this was the part you ordered!

Thanks for the info KevinC. I went on Taylor website and looked up Ultra III. The one in the picture of a hatch looks like what I'm looking for. The web site says that West Marine is a retailer for there products. The next time I go to the boat I will remove one, measure the hatch, and take it to West Marine and see if they can help me out. I will post when I get to the bottom of this. In the meantime maby @brewster16 will chime in.

Probably not going to find this at west marine. The trapezoid hatches were exclusive to sea ray along with the legs.

Replacement does require removing the entire hatch. The feet are rivet from the back.

Yes, Kevin is exactly right. Getting the hatch support is easy. The "foot" that mounts (riveted from behind) the hatch support to the trapezoidal frame is the hard part. One of my plastic feet was broken. Hopefully both of yours are fine. Taylor made does not sell them. And their customer service absolutely sucks. I found the GIII hatch support with the foot on Ebay. Had to buy it although it was the wrong length.....just took off the plastic foot for installation of the right length GIII frame. The right length is 20". Yes, the frame of the trapezoidal style hatch must be removed from the deck in order to replace the arms. Look on YouTube for the procedure for removal and re-bedding the hatch frame.

This information pertains to trapezoidal hatch frames found on certain Sea Ray models only. Square frame hatches are much much easier
