Does anyone know where to get any of this hardware for the older Taylor hatches?
I would welcome any repairs advise/ technique also for these handles.

Taylor's great when it comes to this sort of stuff. Fast service and not priced out of sight.

The only drawback is they charge a $25 handling fee + Shipping for a 20 cent part. I guess their warehouse clerks are very well paid.

Wow, that's steep. I haven't ordered from them in 3 or 4 years. I was never charged the fee. Thanks for the heads up. I guess it now brings their price in line with west Marine. $26.50 for a 20 cent part. lol

Yeah based on what I have heard from you and others it seems they started that fairly recently. I just made sure I ordered all the parts I needed from them the first time. The parts were about $20 and the shipping and handling was $34. It came in a standard USPS bubble pack the size of an NADA book. I had no choice though.

The not having a choice part is what stinks. I found some retro fit crap for my hatches but I knew it wouldn't do the job. Not thrilled with the original design from taylor either.

I tried Taylor first, these models are old enough that they don't carry them anymore.
The lock handles have broken and I have yet to find any glue that will hold on this material.
It is a strange blend of plastic that reminds me of potmetal.
I started looking for these last year when I got the boat but got sidetracked with motor problems and most or less getting the boat back in ship shape.
I'll keep looking, thanks for the responses.

Mabey a used hatch from sailorman.com or dons marine salvage is a good way to go.

We have Taylors on our 86 300 weekender, we have snap on covers (exterior, sunbrella that matches our top), we do not open them very often (wife really likes AC!!), The plexi-glass (or Lexan) is tired looking on ours, I contacted a few shops that re-furb hatches and the advice I was given (from three sources) was replace the hatch (s), "a Taylor is not worth the cost of a re-furb".

We still have the snap on covers on ours, they don't leak and it's low on the list of items that need money thrown at them.

Best Regards,

Joe in St. Pete, FL
