has anyone cleaned out the tracks on their hatch door, mine doesn't run smoothly and sticks. any tips?

You must be talking about the cabin door. Take a high pressure water hose and wash out the bottom track numerous times. You will find hair and other debris. Let it dry well and I used a dry Teflon Spray from HD that worked extremely well. Repeat every couple of months.

When I got my boat we did as Bennett suggested, we got a baseball size glop of hair and a ton of dirt. Had the Admiral hold a towel down below while I was blasting.

By all means clean out the tracks before something breaks. Replacing them is a nightmare.

Mine broke a couple rollers and I’m in for replacing tracks and rollers in the spring.

Aftermarket tracks and rollers are not interchangeable on older boats so be carefull.

ouch! let me know how that goes. I haven't received my boat yet, waiting for warmer weather. I'm thinking I could be looking at replacing them too.

In order to replace the tracks I have to lift the entire steering consol about 6” so I can get my hands and tools under it. I’ve already made step blocks to support it. I’m not sure how I’m going to get the screws out or replacements in on the top rail as the windshield lays way back. I may be able to slide the consol to the rear of the boat a few inches. It’s still going to be real challenge. I’m saving it until the boat is in the water.

Good clean tracks and dry lube is your friend. I know this from 3 previous Sea Ray cruisers.
