Has anyone installed a table on 210 BR or similar size boat?

While sitting on the lake this weekend, we were anchored in a cove as we often do. My wife and I were on the back bench seat and the kids were in the buckets with them facing us. I was thinking it would be nice to have a table to eat and play games with the kids in the back of the boat. As it gets cooler here, I am not ready to put the boat away for the winter and the kids do not always want to swim. I was thinking a flushmount in the floor with a removable pole and possibly a folding top that I could store under that back bench. Some of the newer boats probably have this feature but mine does not. Has anyone done something like this before? Pics of how it turned out as well as any pitfalls I may encounter would be helpful.

Thanks.

I have had the same thoughts on my 220. Because we move about a lot, and have 4 kids, we wouldn't use it very much, so I thought of doing it the following way after the boating season.

We have a ski locker in the middle of the floor. It has its own section of snap down carpet. So, very much the same way Todd/Nehalennia did for his grill mount, I will put in a recessed pipe holder on the door of the ski locker (though his was on the door of his ladder on the swim platform). This way, the snap in carpet will cover it while we are not using it, and when we do want to, we simply have to undo 4 snaps, and put the pipe and table on. It is also nice that the table isn't sitting right over the carpet in case of any spills.

I'm still debating this exact config until I find out if I will be removing any strength from the locker door.

I saw Todd's post and thought of doing it the same way. The only isse with mine is my ski locker is to far forward to put it in the locker hatch. It sits right between the bucket seats. My carpet is not snap in. I have the old style carpet as I got a good deal on the boat this spring and that was pretty much the only compromise I had to make. I am not sure what is under the carpet, fiberglass and wood, or just wood? My guess is that is where the fuel tank is as well. Have you done any research on the table top itself? I am thinking of one that would possible fold in half for easy storage under the bench. I figure the other parts should be easy to come by at any marine store.

Our 22 Sundeck has two tables: one fore and one aft. Makes sense to me that a 21' boat should have enough room for a table. We have the round tables similar to the ones sold at overtons. I believe that they are ~$100 with the mounts. Just be careful if you need to cut into the deck. Your fuel cell could be down there (as mine is directly below our aft table). Good luck!
