I am replacing the carpet in our 96 500 sundancer cabin and wanted to see if any of you guys have done glue down hardwood or floating hardwood laminant and what your opinions were on either one of the two. I happen to be a home builder and can get any type of hardwood or carpet at a great price. My installer will only charge me a couple of bucks a foot to install a pre finished product. The carpet in the boat is trashed and thankfully it isn't glued down except for on the edges. Looks like an easy pull out. We also have the white cabinets and would like to see some pictures if anyone has done it and remembers the color they used,

Thanks in advance
Steve

I am in the middle of a interior remodel as well and also a commercial gc
had my guy on board and says unless the air is on all the time in my Florida heat it wouldn't be a good ideal, however it might be a different story with low humidy in Tennessee I think I am going to go with the glue down vinly planking it's bullet proof and looks great about 2 bucks per foot to install and another couple for the material I think this Is the way to go as far as a mainantce stand point and the look of the stuff is unreal even have some handscraped looking stuff as well as the teak look.. Good luck
