Is a hard top an option for a 2003 sea ray 26DA? Thanks

Negative... you don't see factory hard tops till you get into the 40+ foot newer boats.

No, it is not. An "arch" became an option for the '05-'09 model. But neither had a hard top.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that somewhere along the model run of the '99-'04 260DA, the arch became available, as well.

Yes sorry worded my post incorrectly. I was asking if a hard top can be fabricated to work with the arch to eliminate having the Bimini top. Thanks

Sure, if you’re really good a fabrication or can find a shop willing to make one for you. There was a guy here that custom made a hard top the fitted to the factory arch of his 30+ Sundancer.

Thanks. Do you know what type of shop could do that?

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that, since you're asking, this is probably something you wouldn't be tackling yourself. Can it be done? Sure. But honestly, it'd likely cost as much as the boat is worth. I might be exaggerating a bit there for effect, but I doubt I'm all that far off, either. It's HUGELY labor intensive.

Ah...ok thanks for the quick and honest answer

I would not want to do that. When I purchased my 2003 260DA I specifically did not want the arch models. On the narrow beam I think you are going to put way to much weight high above the water line making the boat less stable and it will rock a lot more. That's probably why you do not see the hard tops until you get to the wide beam larger boats.
