Grill mounting

Anyone have pics or suggestions on mounting a Magma Gourmet grill. Its on a 2007 280DA. I bought twin mounting brackets, but there is not a level area to mount on this boat.

There are several threads on grille mounting. is your grille the square one, or the round one?

I installed a rod holder and used the Levelok (I think that is what it is called) mount....which allows you to level the grill up, when is it setting in the rod holder. I have the rectangle shape Newport.

That looks like a pretty cool idea. Maybe I missed something but how would the propane bottle attach to the grill? Is there a hose set up you need to use with that?

I still haven't mounted mine yet, I came up with another idea and kind of fiddling with it be for I drill holes.

Mine mounts on the side. It just slips in the tube.

I use the Magma "levelock mount" and put it in a rod holder. Almost too easy.

Hi Todd, How did you fasten the grill stand to your swim platform? What type of screws and what type of adhesive? After seeing your picture, we just bought the same grill & stand. What a great idea!! :thumbsup: Thanks!

Were did you get the pole and mount. Model #, etc. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Same grill, just need the mount.

I had a rod holder installed on the starboard side of the boat, behind the arch. I had the dealer drill it. It was not a job for the faint of heart.

I like the mount under the ladder cover. If I still had my boat, I would do that. With the rod holder option, I couldn't use the camper canvas.

I drilled through using stainless steel 1/4-20" screws matching the bases countersinking, then 5200 to seal the holes and stainless steel fender washers and nylon lock nuts.
