We were starting to get some ice on Erie in the western basin, but the warm temps have reversed that in the last week. Is beginning to look like no ice fishing on the east end here this year. Heck, our marina isn't even frozen.

Lake Michigan-Huron are well above the long term average for January. Plus 10". Also current levels are well above chart datum as well. If precip is average or better for the coming season we will be fine. While there has not been much snow in the basin, there has been a fair amount of rain.

Where are you? I went to our marina today and it is thawed nicely. Water there is only 2' in some spots so to see it back to liquid is fantastic.

Nice! used to be good fishing up there, we took our 185 a few times and fished the river. We'll be cruising by you a few times this summer, trips planned to both wilson and niagara on the lake. Home base for us is Irondequoit Bay
