So I haven't posted any pics in a while and know we all love them, myself included. It was a beautiful day on the water. Just the wife and I (which seems to happen less and less) spent most of the afternoon anchored near peanut island floating on rafts. We also happened to anchor right by our old boat, Lucky's Deuce! It was both really cool and really sad to see her.
We then decided to head out in the ocean to explore a little and watch the parasailors. Right after we got outside the inlet, a pod of dolphins came up by us and started to play. Every time we'd move the position of the boat, they'd turn and come back at us. It seemed like they were playing with us and knew exactly what they were doing.
There is nothing that lights Heathers eyes up like dolphins and she was like a giddy little kid on Christmas morning watching these dolphins. Really neat experience.
As an added bonus, we got to see a Coast Guard helicopter and boat go racing out to sea.
I have a couple videos I'll post as well once I remember how. All and all, a great day on the water!
