Recently purchased a 1992 350 EB and in need of a new chartplotter. Can I get into a decent sized color unit for under $800-$1000? Any recommendations?

Hi Dan and welcome. If you are looking for just a chartplotter then it seems by other post here(including mine) that you can't go wrong with a Garmin unit. The 3205 is priced under 1K. I had a Garmin 182C before on my 260DA and really liked it alot. Kind regards, Brian

The 3205 is a great choice as well as the 492 if you want to spend about $500. Garmin is definitely a good choice for chartplotters. Most consider them the easiest to use and have the best features.
