Good Repair Tape ??

Any suggestions for a good/ excellent waterproof repair tape to use on my canvas cockpit cover, until I get a new one made ??? :smt100

you could try sailors tape,its not cheap but you cannot tear it,they use it to fix tears in sails.Also gorilla tape may work.You could sew the sailtape in place also.

Thanks for the reply....I actually bought some "sail tape" last year, hoping it'd work, but it didn't. Intense sun lifted it off, (peeled back, bubbled etc. Sewing it may be an option though....Again, thanks for the reply.
