Shopping for nice depth finder. Don't really need chirp, but if cheap would be nice.
I've looked at adding depth to my Garmin 4280, but with a cost of $500 to $800, I feel that I could get a small chart plotter (4 to 5in) with depth and have a backup for the same money.
Won't deal with Hummingbird because they don't answer their phone, and no customer support but have pretty nice products.
Any good choices out there?
