My daughter is in college and works a lot at a coffee shop. Finally got to spend some hook time with her. trips like this make the expense of boating worthwhile.

Thats beautiful! My oldest son and I were out there two weeks ago taking a tour of UCSD and SDSU. He really liked UCSD as did I. Great school for pre-med and bio-med, among many other subjects. The added bonus was the beach. Its definately one of the top on his list. I was joking with my wife, we’d be going out to see him a lot!

Matt, I hope it works out for your son. UCSD is a great school for math and sciences as you note. Plus, there are alot of biotechs in the SD area, IE job prospects when he graduates.

Steve, have you been hitting GB lately? Mostly pirates with gas cans on sail boats lately. One of them was completely grounded, keel hard to the sand on the south side. I watched him ground every 12 hours as the low tide fell. Amazing.

Thanks, I think he can do it. The girl that was doing the tour was a fourth year student and was interning at a company just down the road. She said she had a 2 year contract and that it looked good for her future. We did a little research and you are quite right, plenty of opportunity.
