Glendinning Throttle Sync

Would someone be kind enough to explain how to operate the throttle sync system on my 1997 DA fitted with 3116 Cats.

I can find no operations literature for this particular boat, and have 6 long passages coming up this year, and would like to utilise the system.

graham...you should be using this everytime you use your boat, not just on long trips. Simply put: once you are moving forward push the button on the dash and put the starboard-side throttle all the way towards the bow. The port-side throttle now operates BOTH engines. It is that simple and should be used most all the time.(not for close quarter handling) I'm sure the manuel from Mark will help Ric

Mine is opposite, both are operated off of the stbd throttle after engaging the synch. I do not turn it on until after I'm on plane.

Is a gas boats sync different? Ours is set up that the starboard throttle is the master control. To engage ours I begin at idle. I turn on the switch. Wait 2 seconds for the servo to do whatever it does. Then I advance the port throttle all the way. I then slowly throttle up with the starboard throttle as sometimes its jumpy before it locks into the sync. Now if something sounds wrong with this let me know since it always seemed a little weird to me. Good luck Graham.
