Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to source two GHS Transmitters without success. The email contact on the GHS site doesn’t seem to be working, and to complicate matters further, my boat is based in Australia ..

Does anyone not residing in the US have any experience buying GHS parts?

I'm in the US, but I call Rick at GHS - 855-791-0128 or email rpassaretti@ghslift.com. I've bought hyd hoses and chocks from them. I asked about a new case for one of my remotes, but you have to buy the whole remote - I recall it was about $65USD...

While I have you, and because you mentioned buying chocks from GHS, have you ever heard of pop-up chocks by Sealift?

They’re not cheap but worth every cent if they work, by that I mean properly support the dinghy in all sea conditions ...

My dockmate has them - the platform requires a deeper slot to accommodate them. They are nice when the dingy is in the water as they go flush with the platform. I think there would be a substantial cost to modify the platform to accept them...

They are $2750 to buy and the Sealift tech says about $1000 to install. Not cheap but I think, if they work and are reliable, then probably worth it - just ...

Rick contacted and 2 x $78 Remotes on the way. Thanks again.

I was having an issue with my swim platform (meaning not working). Rick was great, walked me through the debugging process step by step. Determined my wired remote had failed. A new one ordered and on its way. Rick was great!

A dockmate was in his dinghy trying to strap it down and the pop-up chocks tipped the dink over and into the water. The weight of the dink is what keeps them in place but they don't lock. Interested in the pinsdrop chocks to keep the deck clear. No experince with them but they seem simple and well built. https://tenderchocks.com/

My dockmate has them. Original set was a regular popup version. While shopping for new tender, I suggested to contact SeaLift for an offset version. Final decision was to go for it at about $2500 per set in exchange to have access to the stern locker, walk by and being able to open it. Both sets, the original and the new one were bolted in from the sides, so there is no way for those chocks to accidentally come off. So far the feedback is positive.
