First let me start by stating that I know the electricity should be off when working on the electrical system. :smt021
Next, since I didn't turn off the electricity, a circuit tripped when wires touched - I heard a GFI click. Specifically, the starboard TV outlet , the outlets that are on the sideof the peninsula countertop, the outlets on the wall on top of the peninsula countertop, and the coffee pot outlet. The GFI in the master head works fine - I replaced anyway out of hope and frustration - no change. The outlets on the wall above the peninsula countertop should be a GFI according to the parts manual but it is a remodel blue box with regular outlet. This wire goes to the outlets at the end of the peninsula countertop. The coffee pot outlet is not a GFI as I looked at and felt it. Everything else on the starboard side works - microwave, fridge, stove, light over the stove, fan, and all ceiling lighting, I pulled the little access panel in the cabinet next to fridge and can see an outlet up top but it looks to be non-GFI. Checked the main panel and reset every breaker - twice! Any other ideas?
