I installed the Fusion 700 a couple months ago, love it! Sounds great and works great.

I have the bluetooth adapter and a wi-fi router to control from our iPhones; everything works good - except we are connected to the local wi-fi network connected to the Fusion we don't have internet access on our phones.

Is there a way to add a device to our local boat network (the router the Fusion is plugged in to) that will "inject" wi-fi signals it picks up - ie; the free wi-fi in the marina.

It seems like it should be simple to accomplish - the Geek Squad said no at Best Buy - but I still don't think they understood what I was doing with the Fusion stereo.

Thanks for all your great advise and knowledge!!

Cradlepoint mb95 router is what I use. It allows WiFi as Wan.

You'll have to have a lap top to set it up initially but mine works well. They range away from the boat is only good for maybe 100 feet. The other nice option is it gives you to the option to create two networks. For me I use my phone for internet and as soon as I board the boat the phone gets plugged in and the hot spot is activated. I have both networks set up. One for my private network for the boat that controls several things on network. The other network is open and available for anyone around my boat to use for internet. Let me know if you have any issue setting up the router. I found it pretty straight forward after reading the instructions.

I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread but I have a question regarding your Fusion. Do you have multi audio zones and can each zone play from a different source? Can't seem to get a straight answer from any sales rep in my area, and I am in the market for an upgrade on the system. Thanks!

It is multiple zones but you have the same sound in each zone. 4 zones max with out the added zone amplifier. If you want to add additional head units you could have different zones playing different music.

ND, I put a second head unit on our boat and wired it to the bridge/cockpit speakers. Left the factory unit installed and wired just to the four cabin speakers. If you are interested in that, PM me. It was pretty easy.
