Getting Serious about a 400 Sedan

Naughty Dog-.

I have a 1997DB w/3110 Cats.(350hp ea.) that is like new. It was just listed with Irwin Yacht Sales in Seattle for just under $150,000. Bow thruster, inverter. Beautiful top enclosure with Barrett type glass, AGM batteries, Latex mattress, galley sink plumbed overboard w/garbage disposal, convection/microwave, flat screen......on and on.... 900+hours on mains , -400 on Gen. set. Nick Jackson stern davit. Upholstery perfect up and down. Oil and coolant sample tests available.
Moving to Phoenix. Will miss my toy!

Naughty Dog ... Congrats on finding what you wanted....I'm sorry to have not fully read your thread and missing that you were "engaged" and ready to be "boat Wed".
I've been too busy selling/buying house. Enjoy her .

Finally went to sea trial on Thursday on a 2000 400db w 3116's w 450 hours at MarineMax. Went well. Turned up 2850 at WOT and cruised about 20-21 knots at 2500. Not bad considerering she sat in the water all winter and just had her beard shaved that day. Have a small laundry list of things to repair before I take ownership which i was surprised they didn't push back on a few items.
After looking at a few broker boats I have to say it's been a pleasurable experience dealing w MarineMax. Brokers seem to have a way of spinning the ads and pics only to disappoint the buyer. I've yet to see one that stands up to CSR owner standards. I'd be hard pressed to look at a broker boat again. Even though I'm paying a few $ more, they bend over backwards for the customer and the boat is coming ready to go.
Once we take delivery and put our personal touch I'll take some pics.

She looks like a nice boat. Good luck with it! MarineMax Lindenhurst is a nice outfit, I have spoken to them a few times. Maybe we will see you at Jones Beach Air Show.

No problem Bud, I had taken a good online look at your vessel and she looks like a great buy but the lower helm wasn't going to work for us. You should sell her fast as you don't have any decent competition in our marketplace, at least not anymore, , best wishes and sorry to see your leaving the Coast!

Defiantly be at the air show. In the inlet and hang a left. Every year same spot.

Well here she is! Sorry I was so excited I forgot to take more pictures of her! Got the keys Saturday afternoon and spent our first night on her in downtown Vancouver, B.C. Looking forward to taking her for a really good run on Wednesday. :smt038
