Hi All: I am getting a constant leak into the water even after the boat sitting in the water for a week without being used it's still oozing.
I replaced the metal braided hoses after last season and the boats out again.
The Rams have no evidence of leakage. The unit works fine. I ran the dive up and down for 20 strokes nothing observable. The reservoir is d fluid is own 1/3 and it's milky
I assume my next step is to rebuild or replace the Rams since it must be drawing water in on the retraction stroke. It's been 2 seasons

Thanks

Sounds like a plan, BUT, I would do a positive ID on the leak 1st, for piece of mind

The drive will stay up all day. if it was leaking why would it not come down if the pressure was lost through a leak? but there is water in the reservoir and missing fluid in the reservoir. how Elise can the oil get into the bay?
I called a mechanic friend an he said its probably the Aluminum Distributions block where it connects to the two lines coming (he said they are heavy duty (one is green) from the pump. there are heavy duty but the ends can rot?

ordered everything, the Trim connector assembly kit, new hoses from the pump, and new hoses from the connector to the two rams,
I guess I'll block the drive in the up position, drain the fluid, and go from there...
