I am looking at getting my new chartplotter/Radar/VHF setup from these folks.

Anyone ever used them? Good, Bad, Ugly?

Let's hear it!

Cheers,

Randy.

I never heard of them but I just bought all new stuff from Northeast Marine in Connecticut [ Mail ] and had a problem with my 4210 and they took it back with no problem. Talk to Jim he was great. Got all my prices from web [ 3 stores ] and he matched them

Northeast Marine on web or 1866-837-9812

HAPPY BUYING

Thanks Sparkey, but I want to deal with a Canadian company, locally if possible, just to avoid the whole duty/taxes/brokerage fees headache.

99% of the US companies ship UPS, and the brokerage fees through them are atrocious.

Thanks for the tip though.

Randy.

I bought a Force 10 Water heater from them in 2005, for my previous boat.

I found they were great to deal with. No problems.

I'm also from Canada I never head about them either until a month ago when I was searching for a new gps. $839 Cdn for the A50D (gps/plotter/fish finder) was a great price on either side of the boarder. Raymarine had a big promotion on and from what I understand Georgian bought a decent quantity of units. I spoke to them and they seemed to be a small business which isn't a bad thing. Just beware, if the unit comes with pre-loaded charts, it will only give you outlines of the area, not depth number or contours. You would need to buy the chip for that. If you boated on either coast, you would get tons more detail. I had a local dealer to me match the price and bought the chip for $280. Can wait to install it and check it out.
