How much water should the generator be "exhausting" or spilling back overboard. I am concerned that I may have sucked up some sea-weed into the small inlet hole on the bottom of the hull.
Any advise on how to remove and or check for the debris?

Thanks!

Start at your strainer in the Engine room. Should be mounted near your seacock. Is your genny overheating?

No nothing is overheating, but I noticed that it does not have the flow that it used too. So while out in the bay, I dove in and felt the inlet and I was able to pull out seaweed. They I could feel that there was more in there, but could not get it.

check the strainer for the Gen....it's right next to the Gen (as mentioned)....make sure you close the sea cock first...it's really easy.....when you put the cap back on make sure the rubber seal is in place before tightening.
