My boat is a 1995 - 290 Searay Sundancer with twin engines. The generator is up against the starboard side with no way to access that side of it. Whenever I use it, within a minute of turning it on, water starts to gather in the pan below it. I've tightened all the hoses and still cannot find where the water is coming from. Any suggestions?

Use an inspection mirror and good flashlight. You can get mirrors from Sears or Harbor Freight.

Probably a bad hose, but you have to see it to fix it.

I would inspect the discharge hose very well.... Mine was leaking once shortly after running hot due to lack of water flow.

Good luck....
