Generator oil dipstick location?

I have a Westerbeke 4.5 BCGTC (carb) generator on my boat and I cannot locate the oil dipstick. I searched through the service manual and did not see it..

Looks like it is directly above the heat exchanger and below the engine starter on your model.

some gennys are installed so you can only see the tip of dipstick from the day hatch. Mine came with a yellow tag attached to the pull ring on the dipstick so it could be easily identified. However, once pulled for the first time I was unable to see where it came from and looked for about an hour before stumbling on it by feel. If you have something similar, take a picture before pulling it for the first time so you know where it goes. I feel for the tube and put my fingers around the opening so I can guide the dipstick back in the opening.

On my 7.0 bcg the dipstick is extended over the top of the front of the engine, between the belt shroud and the block. Not sure about the 4.5
