Hi guys,
This maybe is a dumb question. I'm looking to buy a hard copy (no PDF, I already have the PDF) of the Service Manual for my Mercruiser 5.0 MPI Alpha. By all my research and serial number I need the #31. My serial number is 0W351348 and the #31 says 5.0 MPI Alpha 0M300000 so I assume my serial number is inside there. I've found a decent one on ebay (25 bucks) and I'm about to pull the trigger but the seller have in the description 2002 - 2003 and my engine is 2005, so that's what confuses me. I asked the seller but he don't know and refereed me to a dealer.
So the difference in years could be a problem? Maybe is a different number of manual what I need?
