I have a few dings in my boat that I just purchased. I was wondering if someone makes something that will fill the dings that is dyed white. I do not want to attempt spraying paint on the gel coat. If they do make a product like this, what color do I use on my 1999 260 sundancer. not sure if it matters but the boat was made in Arizona.

Thanks,

Andy K

Yes Spectrum is the way to go,I just got done doing mine a couple of days ago and it came out Great! Cant even tell there were scrapes or dings :)
But what you need to do is,Contact searay with you HIN and tell them you are trying to find the color of gelcoat for your boat and then call spectrum and tell them what you need. "I contacted searay by email, they got back to me the next day. I guess you could call if you wanted,I just used searay.com contact support"
Im not sure on how much you need, but I got the small jar it cost $31.00 shipped "not sure how much is in there, maybe a ounce or 2?" But they also offer it in a quart for $100 plus shipping,That choice is up to you.
Im not sure how much you have to do,but that little jar did me well,it comes with the paste and the activator so you just mix up as you need. But it went on good sanded easy and smooth as glass, Good Luck :)

Yes I second Spectrum and searay for support. I contacted searay gave them my hull #, and they gave me the code. I called Spectrum, and in 4 days I had a quart. A little pricey at $100.00 per quart, but the color was good considering my boat is a 1988.
