Gear oil in Bellows

Pulled my Alpha one gen 2 drive this past fall and noticed gear oil in the bellows....Not sure what is causing the leak. Looked around online a bit and thought maybe the gear yoke seal? I just split the outdrive last night and changed the water impeller. Any info would be great, thank you!

I had that happen before. It was the yoke seal as you stated.

Yes, yoke seal available in most good auto parts stores made by National
heres a manual link replace the *`s with b,o,a,t,f,i,x no comma`s

Ive tried finding videos on how to remove it. I believe i just have to remove the Capper screw? i think thats the name of it lol

you have to remove the retaining nut, pull out drive and yoke assembly " carful don't loose or bend shims behind carrier", and remove locknut holding gear and carrier assembly together.
