Hey Guy's & Gals,
My name is Nick and im a new member from Melbourne,Australia!

Currently looking at buying a Sea Ray 220 Sundeck - From most of the reviews they seem to be pretty solid!!
I am looking at a 2003 & a 2005 220 Sundeck. Were there any major changes between the two? Or anything to look out for?

Most of them have the 5.0MPI and i have read that i should probably try and get a Bravo 3 with the 5.0MPI, but if i got the MAG350 would the alpha be ok with it or should i still be trying to get the 220 with a bravo 3 regardless of the engine?

I don't think a Bravo 3 is necessary. The boat is small enough that prop crawl is not a big deal. The 5.0 is big enough with an alpha drive. I have the 4.3 on my 2001 190 which is essentially the same boat. I did replace my aluminum prop on my alpha with a stainless steel prop. So, any standard engine configuration will work... The 5.7 Mag will move very fast, if that matters you...

Are you planning to pull a skier? If you have a crowd of people on board, pulling a skier or tube, I'd want the Bravo 3 with either engine. The 350 Mag with a Bravo 3 would be a nice set up.

Hey Guys, about to put a deposit down on a 2006 Sea Ray 220 Sundeck 5.7 & Bravo 3.

Can anyone tell me what the Sea Ray Vessel Control System is?

Well - I ended up putting the deposit down on a 220 Sundeck 2006. Mag350 and Bravo 3 with 83 Hours on it. Most options - Both Tables, Bow Shower, Filler Cushions, Camper Clears, Cd Stacker, Fish finder/GPS, VHF Radio, Dual Battery. I just have to add the transom trim switch, transom stereo remote and the BBQ!
Should be picking it up in a couple of weeks!

Hey Cheer's on the new boat, your second to last post came in at 0530 that's AM. You're going to have to post later or earlier because of the time difference! Oh and "Put a Shrimp on the Barbie" for me Mate!:smt038
