Gauges went out on me

So, I changed the spark plugs on the starboard motor this evening and all went well excpet when I started up the motors. None of my helm gauges operate now; I have a 03 3870 Cruisers with 8.1's; is it possible I wiggled some wires loose while I was down around the motor. It has the smartcraft; does anyone know where the wires run and/or what they look like? Thanks!

Well, depsite the lack of activity regarding this post, I will update. Went back to the boat last night with plans to wiglle wires, harnessess, etc....but when I arrived to the boat I simply put the keys in the ignition, started her up and all gauges are functioning now. Wish all problems were this easy

The trouble with intermittant electrical problems is that you never know when its fixed and when it just "decides" to work for awhile. Good luck.

My gauges went on me as well. Re-seated the cable going into the SmartGuage and that did the job. Why? No idea - my only guess it needed to re-booted by removing power.
