Gauges, Teleflex or Faria

We've been having lots of trouble with the aftermarket gauges that the PO had installed and I've decided to change them back to as close to original as possible. We've had Faria gauges in most of our boats and haven't experienced any abnormal problems with them but, some people say they're not so great. It seems like the only choices we have up here in Canada are Seatech, Faria, and Teleflex. They're all within 15% of each other in price. Just need simple fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temp, and bat voltage. Thoughts?

I'd keep it factory Teleflex gauges just for resale value.
Did you keep that oil temp gauge if you want to get rid of it pm me.

Why not stick with the gauges you have experience with? Sounds like you've had good luck with the Faria's......like anything else on the Internet your gonna get good's and bad's with anything you consider.

Faria.....the multi function gauge. Throttle, tabs, keep watch and smack the tachs every 5 minutes!

Have you made a decision on which brand of gauges to buy. I've been lucky all my gauges are original Teleflex (knock on fiberglass) they all read within 5% of specs the last time I checked them 3 years ago even the fuel gauge is accurate, this time of year I do get some fogging at night if I forgot to turn on the heat in the helm area.

Can't seem to see the Teleflex gauges that I need on any of the CDN sites, all they offer is the speedometer and tachs. I'll go with the Faria ones if need be, I'll have a bit more time after work tonight to look some more. I hesitate ordering from the USA because by the time anything gets here and the shipping companies, bankers, and government are through with me the price darn near doubles. I'll read your PM when I get home tonight, just popped in for a quick look between calls.

IMHO, Faria rested on their laurels a long time ago. Teleflex has remained.
